FIBROCHEM is located below the High Tatras, in the Slovak Republic.
Traditional yarns production started in 1934.

FIBROCHEM is a key branch of the strong CHEMOSVIT and FINCHEM group, where polypropylene products are at the core of our business. With a history of fibers and yarns production spanning over 90 years, we are a global expert in producing multifilament yarns from polypropylene and other advanced polymers.

Our journey began in 1934 with traditional fibers. In 1974, we pioneered the development of PROLEN®, a polypropylene fine yarns that has since become a globally recognized brand synonymous with quality and performance. Our identity is built on a foundation of proprietary technological know-how and advanced managerial procedures, ensuring long-term stability and top-quality products for our customers. Located in the beautiful Slovak Republic, nestled below the High Tatras, we are proud to be Europe’s most experienced and strongest producer of fine multifilament polypropylene fibers.

OUR PRODUCTS & SERVICES

We offer a comprehensive range of high-performance yarns and related products and services to meet diverse industry needs:

  • PROLEN® Polypropylene Yarns: Our core product line includes dope-dyed textile and technical multifilament yarns. This includes flat textile, flat technical, textured high elastic, textured low elastic, air textured, twisted and covered yarns.
  • Specialty Yarns with Functionalities: We innovate with specialized yarns, including microfibers, hollow fibers, profiled fibers, UV-stabilized, antimicrobially and tick repelling modified yarns, flame-retardant yarns, yarns with UPF protection, cellulose modified yarns, specially pigmented yarns, yarns from recycled polymers, yarns with improved moisture management, yarns with decreased melting point and modified yarns for composites.
  • Color Masterbatches: Choose from over 500 different colors to perfectly match your needs. We offer custom made colors based on customer`s specifications.
  • PROLEN® SOCKS: Our brand extends to high-quality socks for various applications, including classical, sports, health-friendly, and antibacterially modified varieties under the brands Karpathia, and Folkies or custom-made based on required specifications of materials, logos and designs.
  • PROLEN® MEDICAL: is a line of healthcare apparel and textiles made from 100% certified polypropylene yarns, including PROLEN® Siltex and PROLEN® Bodyfresh. These specialized yarns are permanently treated with an advanced antimicrobial additive containing silver and zinc ions, ensuring lasting protection, hygiene and passive disinfection.
  • Laboratory services: we offer wide range of testing and evaluations in in-house and external laboratories following the approved international testing standards.

Our certified production and products guarantee top-quality applications in a wide array of industries, including textiles, sport, automotive, medical, furniture, and other technical uses like ropes, straps, and filtration fabrics.
